It can be used with or without a top sheet, as it is backed with smooth and soft organic cotton. It finishes with a simple knife-edge, an 8" interior flap, and coconut shell buttons. Inside ties to hold the duvet secure.

The fabric is sourced from India as 100% organic cotton; fibers are kept as pure and natural as possible, with minimal processing. Dyes are non-toxic: no bleach, formaldehyde, or toxic chemicals are used. This item contains no chemical flame retardants and is non-toxic. CARE: To start, machine wash on a gentle or delicate cycle with like colors in cold water. Avoid whiteners, as bleaching agents may diminish the depth of colors; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach. You may line dry or tumble dry low and remove promptly to dry. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets may reduce absorbency; to soften naturally, place a set of wool dryer balls inside the dryer to soften the fabric and reduce drying time.
